TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – With the 2016 softball season nearly upon us, the Florida State softball team would like to invite fans and Dugout Club booster members to its annual Preseason Dinner on February 6 in the fourth floor of the Varsity Club of the Moore Center. The event will begin at 6:00 p.m.“We love our Dugout Club and all of fans and love having this event where we can all get together as the season gets started,” said FSU head coach Lonni Alameda.
“The support of the team behind the team means so much to us and this is an opportunity for the coaching staff and players to share our outlook of the season and for the fans to meet and get to know the team.”
The kickoff event will include a dinner, skits from the student-athletes on what goes on behind the scenes, talks from each member of the coaching staff to preview the 2016 season as well as an on-site raffle for FSU softball memorabilia and other prizes.
“The FSU softball team and coaches are the best example of what the college athletic experience can be – they are talented, positive, energetic and funny,” said former FSU softball player and current Dugout Club member Diane Kelley. “Every fan and booster should take the opportunity to get to know this amazing group of athletes. Spending time with the Seminole softball team is one of my favorite booster activities!”
Tickets for the events are available through the Seminole Boosters. Dugout Club members at the $500 level or higher receive two complimentary reserved tickets, while reserved seats at a table with a coach or a player can be purchased for $50 each. General admission seating is available for $25 per person. Dinner is included in the price of the ticket, while a cash bar for beer and wine will be available.
