Florida State Loses Heartbreaker To N.C. State In OT

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) – Kenny Inge scored 26 points and Damien Wilkins
added 25 to lead North Carolina State to an 84-81 overtime win over Florida
State Thursday night.

N.C. State (10-7, 2-4 in the ACC) led throughout overtime by as much as five
points. FSU had a chance to tie the game and force a second overtime, but guard
Delvon Arrington missed a 3-point shot as time expired.

The Wolfpack hit four-of-five field goals and seven-of-10 free throws in
overtime. The Seminoles struggled at the foul line, hitting only 17 of 31
shots.

Inge and Wilkins each scored 17 points after halftime for the Wolfpack,
while Arrington scored 14 for the Seminoles. Arrington led Florida State with
22 points, including hitting a 3-point shot with eight seconds left in
regulation to send the game into overtime.

Florida State (5-14, 0-6 in the ACC) has lost five games in a row and will
play at Georgia Tech on Saturday. North Carolina State won for the second time
in six games and will host North Carolina on Sunday.
