TALLAHASSEE, FL. — The Florida State men’s tennis team will travel to Coral Gables, Fl. to play the 20th ranked Miami Hurricanes on Saturday, February 24th at 1:30 p.m. at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center. The match will mark the 47th meeting between the two schools with Miami leading the all-time series 41-5.

Florida State climbed four places in the national polls last week and are now ranked No.55. The Seminoles stand at 4-4 for the season and are currently riding a two- match win streak going into the fight with the 22nd ranked Hurricanes.

“I think this Miami team is the best they’ve had in recent years,” said Florida State men’s head coach Dwayne Hultquist. “They are undefeated so far this year and it will take a great effort on our part to defeat this very well coached Miami team.”

After the match against Miami the Seminoles will return to Tallahassee to prepare for their first conference opponent of the season as they host Virginia on Saturday, March 3rd at 1:00 p.m.
