Florida State Men’s Tennis Take On NC State, Wake Forest This Weekend: Friday’s Match Available On ACC Select

Finishing up the regular season, the No. 25 Florida State men’s tennis team (12-8, 4-5 ACC) will take on ACC rivals this weekend. First up will be the No. 24 North Carolina State (19-7, 4-5 ACC) on Friday, April 13 at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Complex in Raleigh, N.C. while Sunday completes the Seminoles spring season as they challenge No. 11 Wake Forest (19-4, 6-3 ACC) in Winston-Salem, N.C. at the Leighton Tennis Center.

Florida State men’s tennis is lead by senior and co-captain Ytai Abougzir (Boca Raton, Fla.) who is currently ranked 99 in the nation while freshman Jean-Yves Aubone (Miami, Fla.) enters Friday’s match ranked 94 by the ITA/FILA Poll. The Wolfpack brings No. 61 Nick Cavaday of London, England as well as NC State’s duo No. 22 William Noblitt and Cavaday. Wake Forest will meet the Seminoles on Sunday with two ranked individuals including No. 6 Todd Paul and No. 52 Cory Parr.

ACC Championships Just Around The Corner
Florida State men’s tennis will compete in the 2007 ACC Championship beginning on Thursday, April 19 in Cary, N.C. Round one competition will begin on Thursday morning at the Cary Tennis Center. All tournament matches will be available to view on live video-streaming at www.accselect.com.
