Tallahassee, Fla. – Due to inclement weather in both North Carolina and the Tallahassee area, the Florida State-North Carolina softball games have been changed for Feb. 23 and 24. The Seminoles will play their first ACC game against the Tar Heels on Saturday, Feb. 23, at 5:00 p.m. followed by a doubleheader on Sunday, Feb. 24, at 12:00 and 2:00 p.m.
The FSU softball squad enters the weekend after sweeping a doubleheader on the road against Jacksonville on Feb. 19. The Seminoles took down the Dolphins 3-1 and 10-0, improving their record to 7-4. UNC comes to town with a 10-2 record, losing two games to Seminoles-rival Florida earlier in the week.

Florida State enters the weekend after sweeping a doubleheader with Jacksonville on Feb. 19, while North Carolina also comes in after winning two against Campbell on Feb. 20. The Seminoles are currently 7-4 and 5th in the ACC, UNC is 10-2 and 3rd.
Scouting the Tar Heels…
-The Tar Heels have won all seven home series they’ve hosted this season.
-Both of UNC’s losses have come from No. 10/11 Florida.
-Starting pitcher, Lisa Norris, has won back-to-back ACC Pitcher of the Week honors in the first two weeks of the season.
-The Tar Heels’ last win over the Seminoles was in their first match-up last year when UNC defeated FSU 4-3 in Chapel Hill.
