“The Scoop” On Duke:
The Blue Devils are currently No. 1 in the ACC with an undefeated 3-0 conference record.
Duke is ranked #14 in the country entering Friday’s game against FSU.
Senior Carrie DeMange leads the ACC in kills (201, 5.15 avg.) and points (222.5, 5.71 avg.).
DeMange has been named the ACC Player of the Week twice this season – Sept. 11 & Sept. 25.
The Last Time: FSU @ #25 Duke, Nov. 22, 2006 – The Seminoles were swept by the Blue Devils in North Carolina, 0-3 (30-23, 30-24, 31-29).

Florida State leads the all-time series 17-6
The Demon Deacons rank sixth in the ACC so far this season, four spots ahead of the Seminoles (No. 10)
Wake Forest is in the top five of three individual categories – kills, hitting percentage and ponts.
Junior Jessica Furlong rankes No. 3 in both kills (182, 4.33 avg.) and points (199, 4.74 avg.).
The Last Time: FSU @ Wake Forest, Nov. 21, 2006 – The Seminoles took a flawless 3-0 sweep over the Demon Deacons in Reynolds Gym (30-16, 30-28, 30-18).
Seminoles Out To A Rocky Start In Conference…
Florida State began conference play on a high note on Sept. 14 after sweeping Miami at home, 3-0 (30-17, 30-24, 30-22), but have slipped in its last two meetings against Virginia and Virginia Tech. The Cavaliers took the match three games to one while the Hokies were flawless against the garnet and gold, winning 3-0.
And The Category Is: Conference Leaders…
Florida State rankes players in five out of seven categories in the ACC. Junior Mira Djuric appears in three, sophomore Brianny Barry and freshman Lauren Rosenthal in one apiece. Djuric is No. 8 in kills with 143 (3.67 avg.) and No. 4 in points with 184.5 (4.73 avg.) and is also the runner-up for service aces with 28 so far this season (an avg. of 0.72 per game). Barry sits in the sixth spot for hitting percentage with .356, while Rosenthal’s 309 assists (9.66 avg.) places her at No. 9.
Djruic Getting Close To Double-Doubles…
Junior Mira Djuric is shaping up to be the first Seminole this season to reach a double-double in kills and digs. The closest the Belgrade, Serbia native has gotten so far is 21 kills and eight digs against Virginia on Sept. 20.
