TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The No. 12 Florida State men’s golf team hosts the NCAA Tallahassee Regional beginning Thursday and running through Saturday. The Seminoles tee off at 8:00 a.m. at the Golden Eagle Country Club. Admission is free to the three-day 54-hole tournament.
“Our staff and Golden Eagle have done a fantastic job in preparation for this NCAA event,” said head coach Trey Jones. “A great deal of work and attention to detail has gone into this tournament and I know it will be a great experience for all participants.”
“Tomorrow’s opening round can’t come fast enough for our team,” said Jones. “We have prepared well and know what we have to do. Now it is up to us to get out of our way and execute our plan. Hosting brings positives and negatives and with the right mind set, the positives strongly outweigh the negatives.”
Berger leads the team with a 69.91 stroke average and has two wins this season at the Gator Invitational and Seminole Intercollegiate. Seiffert is second with a 71.48 average and has posted five top ten finishes this spring including tied for second at the ACC Championships last month.

Caron has been as equally impressive and tied for first at the Gary Koch Invitational in the beginning of April. Letson adds experience to the line-up as the only four year member of the team.
