TALLAHASSEE, FL — The Florida State soccer team will take on the
Mercer Bears on Friday, September 3 at the Seminole Soccer Complex at
7:30pm. Parking is avaiable at the baseball stadium lot, the paved lot next
to the tennis courts and the lot behind Mike Long Track. There is no
admission for the match and all spectators need to enter the complex from
the connector road entrance.

The Seminoles are coming off an 0-2 start last weekend as they
dropped their season opener to the Florida Gators 5-1 and the Miami
Hurricanes on Sunday 3-0. Junior April Murphy scored the Seminoles lone
goal against Florida, making it the first time in five meetings that the
Seminoles have scored.

Sarah Deacon led FSU on Sunday with six shots on
goal. Goalkeeper Sarah Crawford notched seven saves against the Gators,
taking the lead in the ACC with an individual game high in goal saves.
