TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The 28-17 Florida State softball team will
host 18-22 Georgia Tech in FSU’s ACC opener on Saturday, April 1st in a
doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m., at the Seminole Softball Complex. Georgia
Tech is 0-2 in ACC play, having dropped a doubleheader to Maryland back on
FSU is led by Serita Brooks, who is batting .394 with 56 hits.
Brooks is second in the league in hitting to Georgia Tech’s Anne Knobbe,
who is batting .430 with 62 hits, including a league-leading 14 home runs.
The Lady Seminoles will continue action on Sunday, April 2nd, when
they host Florida International in a doubleheader, beginning at Noon. The
action will be aired live on Sunshine Network.
