Florida State Student-Athletes, Coaches Help Charitable Cause

Tallahassee, Fla. — The Florida State Department of Athletics teamed
up with local celebrities and members of state government on Sunday evening
to raise $57,000 for the Dick Howser Center at the Doubletree Hotel.

The Doubletree hosted the 14th Annual Celebrity Waiter Dinner and
Auction. Florida State head baseball coach Mike Martin was one of the
events hosts while head men’s basketball coach Steve Robinson was a
celebrity waiter and head women’s basketball coach Sue Semrau was a celebrity waitress.


Fourteen FSU student-athletes also served as waiters, including:
Kia Asberg (Tennis), Ann Blachford (Swimming), Ross Brannon (Football),
Liska Dedekind (Swimming), Mike Diblasi (Baseball), Antwuan Dixon
(Basketball), Jared Jones (Football), Jamal Reynolds (Football), Bobby
Rhodes (Football), Corey Simon (Football), Chris Weinke (Football),
Jennifer Werrick (Volleyball), Jason Whitaker (Football) and Brooke Wyckoff
(Basketball).
