Tallahassee, Fla. – With a victory over Tulane on Monday night, Florida State advanced to the NCAA Super Regionals for the eighth time in school history. The Seminoles were selected as one of eight institutional hosts for this weekend’s super-regional play as announced late Monday night by the NCAA Division I Baseball Committee. Florida State will welcome the Wichita State Shockers to Tallahassee for a best-of-three game series beginning on Friday, June 6.
A minimum of 45 hours of super-regional television will be provided by family of ESPN channels, ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU. Consult local listings for specific games shown in each area of the country. As many as 15 national broadcast windows could appear on the three ESPN networks from June 6-9.
2008 marks only the fourth time (1999, 2001, and 2005) that all eight national seeds survived the regionals and advanced to the super regionals since the bracket expanded in 1999.

At this time, Grandstand reserved seats are sold out for the 2008 NCAA Tallahassee Baseball Super-Regional. General Admission All-Tournament Passes are still available.
There is a small possibility that additional Grandstand reserved seats will become available late Wednesday afternoon. Please check online at www.seminoles.com or call the Seminole Ticket Office for availability.
General admission All-Tournament passes are being sold for $25 and are now on sale via the Internet at www.seminoles.com. Tickets will also be available by phone at 888-FSU-Nole and at the Seminole Athletics Ticket Office between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday.
Single game tickets for the Friday and Saturday will go on-sale via the web at www.seminoles.com on Thursday, June 5. Single game tickets for the `if necessary’ game on Sunday will go on sale online Saturday after the game.
Prices for single game general admission tickets are $12.00 for adults and $7.00 for youth. If available, reserved seats single game tickets are $14.00.
