Florida State Travels Back Home To Prepare For Double-Header Next Weekend.

ATLANTA, Ga. – The Florida State women’s tennis team will head back to Tallahassee to begin preparation for their first double-header next weekend. Earlier today the twentieth-ranked Seminoles fell to No. 25 TCU 4-2 in the consolation match.

In spite of winning the first doubles’ match with sophomore’s Noemie Scharle (Colmar-berg, Luxembourg) fell to No. 16 Macall Harkins and Anna Sydorska 8-5.

Scoring the only two points for the Seminoles were Scharle and No. 53 Suess winning both their singles’ matches. Scharle defeated No. 49 Macall Harkins 6-4, 6-4, while Suess conquered Anna Sydorska 6-2, 6-3.

Come cheer on the Seminoles as Florida State hosts Georgia State and UNC-Greensboro on Sunday, February 8.
