TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Seminoles are coming off an 84-58 loss at Clemson last Saturday. FSU shot just 36.7 percent from the field and allowed the Tigers to make 56.4 percent from the floor, a season-high for an opponent…Senior Damous Anderson was Florida State’s lone bright spot, scoring a career-best 28 points. He has scored in double figures in his last 10 games and is averaging 18.6 points on 52.0 percent shooting (66-of-127) in that span. He leads the Seminoles in scoring in ACC games at 17.5 points per contest and scored a season-high 23 points at Duke last year…FSU is just 1-4 since winning at No. 21 North Carolina on Jan. 22. In those five games, Florida State has made just 39.0 percent from the floor (104-of-267) and broken that mark just once…Ron Hale, the Seminoles’ leading scorer at 16.6 points per game, is coming off a six-point game at Clemson where he made just 1-of-12 from the floor and missed all nine of his three-point attempts. Hale is just 5.3 points on 8-of-26 shooting (30.8 percent) in his last three games against Duke.
DUKE BLUE DEVILS

The Blue Devils are coming off an 84-65 win at Georgia Tech on Saturday. Chris Carrawell and Nate James led six Duke players in double figures with 15 points each. Carrawell leads the Devils and ranks third in the ACC in scoring at 18.0 points…The Devils enter the FSU game with a 61-game winning streak against teams not ranked. Their last loss to an unranked team was Dec. 13, 1997 at Michigan…Three Duke freshman – Jason Williams (32.9), Mike Dunleavy (25.5) and Carlos Boozer (23.0) – are averaging at least 23.0 minutes per game and its five-man rookie class has combined for 46.7 percent of the Blue Devils scoring this year…The contest is Duke’s first at home since having its 46-game Cameron Indoor Stadium win streak snapped last Wednesday against Maryland.

Wednesday’s game marks the 19th meeting between Florida State and Duke. The Blue Devils own a 16-2 advantage in the series, which dates back to Jan. 3, 1954…Duke took the first meeting of the season with an 85-54 victory in Tallahassee on Jan. 16 behind 21 points from Carlos Boozer…The Seminoles have lost 10 straight against the Blue Devils and are 2-15 against Duke since joining the ACC in 1991-92. FSU’s average margin of defeat during its 10-game losing streak to the Devils is 15.3 points, including 26.7 in the last three…Cameron Indoor Stadium is the only ACC arena where Florida State has not won since joining the league. FSU is 0-8 there and has lost just twice in the facility by less than 10 points (1995 – 72-67, 1997 – 72-66 in OT)…Duke owns first place in the ACC standings and has a three-game lead over second place North Carolina while Florida State is in sixth, a half-game behind NC State for fifth.
