TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida State University today announced they have added a free downloadable desktop alert application, The B-Line, to their official athletic web site (www.Seminoles.com), providing fans and alumni of the Seminoles instant access to information related to the league.
The B-Line gives fans a full view of Florida State University, alerting them to the latest breaking news, stories, as well as highlights, all while allowing one-click access to Seminoles.com. Free software for the B-Line is available for both PCs and Macs and can be downloaded through the official site, www.Seminoles.com (click here to download free software).
Seminoles.com is produced and hosted by CBS College Sports Network, a leader in the official collegiate athletic website business with over 200 colleges and universities currently under contract. The B-Line was provided to Florida State University through a partnership agreement between CBS College Sports Network and New Tier, Inc, a pioneer and industry leader in digital marketing solutions. CBS College Sports Network and New Tier are facilitating the launch of similar versions of the B-Line at 75 colleges and universities by the fall of 2009.
“CBS College Sports Network is thrilled to bring the B-Line to the users of Seminoles.com and to fans and alumni of Florida State University around the world,” said Robert Schupler, Senior Vice President, University Sales & Marketing for CBS College Sports Network. “The B-Line is a lot like having your own personal sporting news ticker docked at the bottom of your screen, providing the latest news, scores and information directly to the desktop.”
