Tallahassee, Fla. – Florida State Volleyball announced on Friday that three Seminole volleyball matches will be televised live by the Sunshine Network this season. Two of the matches will come against ACC opponents Duke and Wake Forest, while the third match will show the Seminoles against the Miami Hurricanes.

“We are very happy to continue the partnership and exposure we have with the Sunshine Network,” said head coach Todd Kress. “I know our kids love to play in front of a television audience and we look forward to that opportunity this year. It’s also great for our recruits to have the chance to see us on television and since we are able to recruit nationally, it is very beneficial to us as a program.”

The Seminoles will play two Friday night games, one versus Miami at 8:00 p.m. on September 19 and the other against Duke at 7:00 p.m., on October 3. Wake Forest will be Florida State’s third televised match and will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 4th.

FSU will play an intra-squad scrimmage Saturday night August 23, beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Tully Gymnasium.

The Seminoles will open the 2003 season on Friday, August 29th at home in the FSU Invitational. Florida State will play Florida Atlantic at 12:30 p.m. and Kansas State at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and conclude the weekend against Michigan on Saturday, August 30th at 6:00 p.m.
