Florida State Women’s Golf Team In Third Place At Lady Gator Invitational

GAINESVILLE, Fla. –
The Florida State women’s golf team is in third place in the team standings and senior All-America candidate Kristin Tamulis is in a tie for first place in the individual standings after two rounds of the SunTrust Lady Gator Invitational at the University of Florida Golf Course.


Florida State is only eight strokes off the team lead currently held by Florida. The Gators scored a two-round total of 587. Tennessee is on second place with a score of 592 and the Seminoles are third at 595.


Tamulis is tied for first place with Dayna Burleigh of Michigan State. Both carded two-round scores of four-over par 144. Tamulis finished with a three-over par 73 in the first round and closed the day with a one-over par 71.


Seminole freshman Caroline Larsson (+11, 151) and junior Katie Quinney (+11, 151) are tied for 22nd place with identical scores.
