TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –
The Florida State women’s tennis team are set to host Georgia Southern and UCF this weekend. The Eagles of Georgia Southern will visit the Scott Speicher Tennis Center Saturday, January 25th, while the Golden Knights will travel to Tallahassee Sunday, January 26th.

The Seminoles look to extend their two-match winning streak against Georgia Southern. Last season, Florida State swept the Eagles in Tallahassee by a score of 7-0. With the victory last year, the Tribe improved its all-time record against Georgia Southern to a perfect 7-0.

On Sunday, the Seminoles will host the Golden Knights. UCF enters the match with a record of 1-0 in dual match play. The Seminoles defeated the Knights in a battle last year by a score of 4-3. Florida State leads the all-time series against UCF with a record of 1-0.

Following this weekend’s matches, the Seminoles will take to the road for a five-match road stint. Florida State’s next match will be in New Orleans, when the Seminoles take on the Green Wave of Tulane.
