TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Florida State women’s track and field program held their annual retreat last weekend and gave way to the “The Amazing Race” Seminole style. With the help of coaches and sport’s psychologists, the Seminoles celebrated a unique team building event to help them through the warpath this season.

With over 50 student-athletes participating, the women were divided into groups of five and given their clues to the challenges. Some of the activities the team participated in were decorating your teammates face with war paint and garnish the Seminole spear to represent team goals which they would later hang in their locker room to remind them what the team wants to accomplish in the 2009 season. After they completed the obstacles, the women raced to their final destination, the Unconquered Statue.
