After taking a commanding led during the afternoon matches on the first day the United States claimed six of the final eight singles matches of the second day to post the 18-6 victory over their European counterparts. The U.S. now leads the series by a 6-4-1 margin.

Blixt, who helped the Seminoles to a 13th place finish in the NCAA Championship finals during the first week of June earned a 1-1 record in individual matches and was a perfect 2-0 in doubles competition.
