Florida State’s Orange Bowl Tickets Already Allocated

Dec. 3, 2000

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –
All of Florida State’s non-student tickets for the 2001 FedEx Orange Bowl have now been allocated. More than 29,000 requests were received for the 14,400 non-student tickets made available to the university. This tremendous demand required that some requests be reduced, but Seminole Boosters who met the November 22 order deadline will receive the number of tickets they ordered up to the following limits:

Golden Chiefs ($5000 and above) 8

Silver Chiefs ($2500 to $4999) 6

Tomahawks ($1000 to $2499) 4

Warriors ($500 to $999) 2

Statements confirming this information are being sent this week to all fans who ordered. The targeted mailing date for tickets (via Federal Express) is December 20.

Seminole fans who were unable to obtain their desired number of tickets through Florida State’s allocation are encouraged to consult other possible sources. Orange Bowl travel packages, some of which may include game tickets, can be found in the Report to Boosters and the Osceola.
