Florida State’s Top 10 Plays of 2014: No. 8

Our countdown of Florida State’s Top 10 plays of 2014 continues inside AT&T Stadium, where the Seminoles won a thriller against Oklahoma State.

8) Jameis Winston’s wild touchdown run against Oklahoma State

In his 2014 debut, the reigning Heisman Trophy winner picked up right where he left off a year ago. With the Seminoles nursing a three-point lead against Oklahoma State, quarterback Jameis Winston took a shotgun snap, dropped back a step and then took off running. He sidestepped a blocking Karlos Williams, hurdled over lineman Josue Matias and, in one motion, juked his way past another defender before barreling into the end zone. It was the longest run of Winston’s career and helped lift the Seminoles to a win over the Cowboys.
