Florida State’s Top 10 Plays of 2014: No. 9

Our countdown of Florida State’s Top 10 plays of 2014 continues on a rainy, windy day at Doak Campbell Stadium.

9) Roberto Aguayo’s game-winner

Roberto Aguayo is one of the most decorated and accomplished kickers in college football history. Yet he entered this season having never made a game-winning field goal at any level. That changed on Nov. 22 when Aguayo drilled a 26-yarder through wind and heavy rain that gave FSU a 20-17 victory over Boston College. Aguayo’s kick came just moments after BC’s Alex Howell missed a 42-yard attempt that would’ve given the Eagles a late lead.
