The Florida State Seminoles (6-4, 5-2 ACC) completed their final day of practice before breaking for Thanksgiving with an 18-period workout in shorts and shoulder pads. Practice began with segment drills before moving on to work against Georgia Tech scout teams. Highlighting practice was a spirited 11-on-11 drill.
“We got in about an hour and a half today,” said Bowden. “We’ll send them home for Thanksgiving and have them back on Sunday.”
Georgia Tech will play Georgia this weekend before heading to Tallahassee for a long-anticipated showdown with FSU. The Yellow Jackets currently sit just one game behind Florida State for second place in the conference. The Seminoles have won every meeting between the two schools since joining the Atlantic Coast Conference in 1992. Florida State leads the overall record 9-7-1. The first nine games in this series were played in Atlanta.
The December 1st game with Georgia Tech at Doak Campbell Stadium is scheduled for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff on ESPN.
