Why did you start playing golf?
I started playing golf at 11 years old because I would take lessons when my sister couldn’t at our local club down the street. I was always a competitive person and I played tennis as a child because my dad was a professional tennis player. I always wanted to play a professional sport whatever that sport may be and I fell in love with golf and knew it was my passion.

What club do you think you use the most?
I use the putter the most because it is used on every hole.

What’s your favorite part about being a college student-athlete?
My favorite part about being a student athlete is getting into football games no matter what and not worrying about the student lottery, as well as having all the academic resources at my disposal.

When you are at the tee what is going through your mind? How do you quiet your surroundings?
When I’m on the tee I try to focus on a small target in the fairway and I block all the other objects out of my vision. I don’t try to quiet my surroundings, it’s just I am so focused on my target I almost become lost in a sense and nothing else goes through my mind but hitting that shot.

What is your favorite golf movie?
My favorite golf movie is Happy Gilmore because Adam Sandler is hilarious.

What is your favorite spot to eat on campus?
My favorite spot to eat at campus is either Mom and Pops hot dog stand or Subway because it is very convenient and brand new.

How many golf balls do you think can fit in a school bus?
If I had to guess, I think you could probably fit 50,000 balls in a school bus.

What are three items you cannot live without?
I can’t live without my cellphone, golf clubs and parents.
