November 7, 1998

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Florida State Seminole women’s basketball team will enjoy seeing Lysa Moorefield in a basketball uniform again, but this time she won’t be wearing garnet and gold. Moorefield, who played for Florida State from 1994-98, will be an opponent this time around as she and her Athletes in Action teammates visit the Leon County Civic Center Sunday afternoon. The exhibition is at 2 p.m. and free to the public.

The Seminoles are 1-0 in exhibition play this season after they defeated the Mexican National team by a score of 101-73 on Tuesday. Junior forward Latavia Coleman recorded game-highs of 32 points and 15 rebounds, while sophomore sensation Brooke Wyckoff also added a double-double with 18 points and 14 boards.
