TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida State diver Tyler Roberge was named the ACC Male Diver of the Week after he started his junior season off with a pair of dominating wins on 1-meter and 3-meter against Florida on Oct. 13.
“It’s really early in the season but Tyler has been looking fantastic in practice,” FSU head diving coach John Proctor said.
“He’s worked hard and made some adjustments over the summer and man, it’s paying off. This is well-deserved.”
Roberge first started the meet with victory on 1-meter, scoring a tally of 344.18, which was his best as a Seminole. He followed that performance by winning 3-meter with a score of 383.40. All told, Roberge won both boards by a combined total of 95.25 points.
This is the third-career ACC Diver of the Week honor for the Edmonton native.
Florida State will travel to Fort Myers, Fla. to face Florida Gulf Coast (women only) and Florida Southern on Nov. 4-5.
