FSU Baseball Media Guide Named Fifth-Best In The Nation

June 18, 2007

Tallahassee, FL –
The 2007 FSU baseball media guide was named the fifth-best baseball publication in the nation according to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). The book was written by associate sports information director Elliott Finebloom and designed by CWaters Designs of Quincy, FL. This is the second time in three years the FSU baseball media guide has placed among the six best in the country.

The recognition of the Florida State baseball media guide continues a long standing tradition of award-winning media guides produced by the Florida State Sports Information staff. In five of the last six years the FSU’s men’s basketball media guide has been named either first or second in the nation. Seminole media guides in baseball, soccer and softball have placed in the top six in the nation five times in the last five years. The FSU football media guide has also been recognized recently as the 2005 book placed fifth in the nation.

Publication awards will be handed out at the annual CoSIDA convention, which will be held in San Diego, CA this year in July. The Seminole baseball media guide will be available for purchase on-line exclusively at Seminoles.com.
