FSU Cross Country Pauses for Team Photo Day

Sept. 2, 2004

Tallahassee, FL The 2004 Florida State cross country teams took time from their class and training scheduled for team photos on Thursday, August 26, 2004. The Seminoles anxiously await their season opener this Friday at the Moutaineer Open at Appalachian State in Boone, N.C.

Head coach Bob Braman is entering his fifth season as head of the Tribe’s cross country program. On the men’s side, he returns six of seven starters from last season, in addition to adding two outstanding transfers and the Florida state cross country champion to the team.

The women’s squad is led by five-time All-American senior Natalie Hughes (Grand Junction, CO/Palisade). The Seminoles face a challenge this season, following the departure of five-time All-American Vicky Gill, but have a young team with a lot of talent.
