TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The Florida State Seminoles continued spring football practice on Monday with a 15-period workout in shorts on the Ed Williamson Practice fields. The Seminoles spent most of practice working on individual drills before moving on to conditioning after period 15.

“We’re making progress,” said head coach Bobby Bowden. “We’ve gotta get better at the little things. We’ve gotta get those defensive tackles going. You can see the effort is there.”

The receiving squad continued to do well on Monday, with impressive performances turned in by Anquan Boldin and Robert Morgan. DB Rufus Brown stood out on defense with an interception.

INJURY REPORT: OG Jerry Carmichael will have ACL reconstructive surgery on Thursday, Lamarr Parrish out indefinitely (hyperextended knee), C Antoine Mirambeau out indefinitely (ankle sprain), LB Bradley Jennings returned to practice today (knee, hamstring)

Florida State will resume practice on Tuesday afternoon with a 20-period practice on the Ed Williamson Practice Fields.
