TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Due to unfavorable weather conditions in Tallahassee, Fla., the match scheduled for February 27, 2000 at 12:00p.m. against the #45th-ranked Florida State Seminoles and the #29th-ranked University of Miami Hurricanes has been postponed to a later date. Travel arrangements for the Hurricanes limited their stay in Tallahassee, therefore the match will be rescheduled.
A large crowd was expected for Sunday’s match due to the rivalry between two of the top schools in Florida. Florida State was entering the match with an 8-1 record on the season, with six matches won at home, one won on the road and one lost on the road. The loss on the road came against the #16th-ranked Texas Christian University. The University of Miami has won five matches at home and two on the road.
