TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Due to the threat of heavy rain scheduled to hit the Tallahassee area all day on Sunday, Florida State and NC State will play a doubleheader on Saturday, March 15.
The first game on Saturday will begin at 1:00 p.m. with the second game to start 45 minutes following the completion of the first. Both games will be nine innings.
The stadium will not be cleared in between games. Saturday’s season and general admission tickets for the March 15 contest will be good for both games of the doubleheader. Fans holding either reserved seating tickets or general admission tickets for Sunday’s game can be used as either general admission tickets for both games of the doubleheader on Saturday, March 15 or can be redeemed for general admission seating for any other home game with the exception of the following games: Notre Dame (4/4 – 4/6), Florida (4/8) and Virginia (4/25 – 4/27).
Game one of the series will remain today, Friday, March 14 with first pitch set for 6:00 p.m.
All three games will still be televised on ESPN3. Locally, fans can listen to the coverage on 1270 Am (Friday) and 100.7 FM (Saturday DH). Audio for all three games will also be available through the Seminoles.com All-Access player. Live stats for all three games will be available via gametracker.
