Tallaahassee, Fla. – The Florida State women’s tennis team opens the fall season at Gator Fall Classic in Gainesville, Fla. First year head coach Jen Hyde and her Seminole team will take the court at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, September 17, 2004, facing the host Florida team.

The Tribe returns to the court with a good mix of veterans and newcomers. The Seminoles lost four seniors to graduation but return top dual match singles winner Mihaela Moldovan (Bucharest, Romania/Emil Racovita) and her doubles partner sophomore Roxanne Clarke. Add to that list experience net minders junior Lindsay Deason (Ft. Myers, FL/Boca Raton Prep) and senior Amberly Tantee (Dana Point, CA/Futures) both of whom saw action on the court last year.
