Christian Ponder warmed up for Florida State University (FSU) football team’s upcoming Day of Action by delivering Elder Care Services’ Meals on Wheels to local seniors on July 30.

The football team was preparing to LIVE UNITED beyond the field, which took place on Aug. 1 as they partnered with United Way of the Big Bend (UWBB) for their first “Day of Action.”

Ponder couldn’t wait to hand off the opportunity to his teammates.

“We need to stand together,” Ponder said, FSU football quarterback.

“When you stay together, you can get a lot accomplished. Sometimes people take things for granted. I truly believe that we must give back to others because so much as been given to us.”
