FSU Remains In Third At Lady Seminole Golf Invitational

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Florida State women’s golf remains in
third place after two rounds of the Lady Seminole Invitational. The
Lady Seminole had a team total of 304 to give them a total of 611.

Junior Louise Wright is in sixth place. She leads all Lady
Seminole golfers after rounds of 73 and 75. Florida State’s Kristin
Tamulis and Laura Kowalski finished 12th and 15th respectively. Beth
McCumber rounds up the top 25 for the Tribe with an 18th place finish.
Other Lady Seminole scores after two rounds include Stacey Burgin
(26th), Alison Zimmer (33rd), Kristen Sanborn (38th), and Kelley Winship
(41st).

Mississippi State University continues to lead the tournament
after a team total of 278 in the second round. Following in second place
is the University of Kentucky with a team total of 297.

Pia Josefsson of Mississippi State is in the individual lead
after two rounds. She is followed by teammates Lina Thoren, Christina
Clausen, Anna Gertsson and Kelli McClaren to round up the top 5.

The Final round of the Lady Seminole Invitational will take
place tomorrow morning at the Seminole Golf Course.
