COACH’S CORNER

Dr. JoAnne Graf is in her 22nd season at the helm of the Lady Seminole
program. Her record stands at 1036-308-6. In 1999, Graf became the first
coach in NCAA Division I history to amass 1,000 Division I victories and
the first to reach that plateau at one university. She has guided FSU to
five College World Series, 12 NCAA Regional appearances, two slowpitch
National Championships and seven ACC Championships. Her coaching has
produced 17 All-Americans and numerous all-region and all-conference
selections.

FSU AND FAMU

FSU is 4-0 vs. the Rattlerettes this season. In two of those games, the
Tribe has eight-run ruled FAMU in five innings and two games have been
shutouts. FSU’s last loss to FAMU was on April 14th, 1999 — an 8-3 loss
for Malerich.

LOTSA HITS

FSU belted 12 hits in its 9-1 win over FAMU on April 9th. It marked the
eighth time this season that the Lady Seminoles have recorded double digit
hits in a game and the Tribe is 8-0 in those games. Florida State belted a
season-high 13 hits in the first game of the doubleheader vs. Ohio on March
22. On the flip side, FSU pitching has allowed an opponent to record
double-digit hits in just one game this season — a 4-2 loss to FIU, who
had 10 hits.

Freshman Brandi Stuart batted .333 the past week and led the team with
