FSU To Appear in 12 Broadcasts in 2014

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.  ( – The 13th-ranked Florida State indoor volleyball team will be featured in 12 regular season broadcasts in 2014 as the Atlantic Coast Conference announced its fall broadcast schedule on Tuesday, Aug. 12.

The Seminoles will host six ESPN3 broadcasts from Tully Gym and fans can additionally the team in action in seven road broadcasts.

Florida State will first host 10th-ranked Florida at 6 p.m. in a match that is sure to live up to its hype after the Seminoles knocked the six-ranked Gators out of the 2013 NCAA Tournament in the second round – a match that took place on Florida’s home court.

Other home broadcasts include North Carolina (Sept.26), NC State (Oct.12), Virginia Tech (Oct.19), Boston College (Nov.21) and Syracuse (Nov.23).

The Seminoles will be featured on ESPNU this season on the road against Miami on Oct.5. In 2013, FSU hosted the ESPNU broadcast, topping the Hurricanes 3-1 on Oct.16.

Florida State will appear on the regional sports network (RSN), which includes areas of Fox Sports when it heads to Louisville for a 7 p.m. match on Oct. 10. The contest will also be featured on ESPN3.

In addition, the Seminoles will be guests of the SEC Network on Sept.19-20 when they face Texas A&M in a pair of matches in College-Station, Texas.

Other road broadcasts include, Georgia Tech (Oct.3) and Duke (Nov.13).

Florida State will host its annual Garnet and Gold match on Aug. 23 at 1 p.m. in Tully Gym, before traveling to face Nebraska on Aug. 29 and Iowa State on Aug. 31 in the AVCA Showcase.
