FSU to Conclude Spring Practice with Scrimmage

February 25, 1999

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The Florida State football team will close
spring practice this year with a controlled scrimmage instead of the annual
spring game. The scrimmage will be held at Doak Campbell Stadium on April
10 at 2:00 p.m. As it has been in the past, the scrimmage will be free to
the public.

Traditionally the end of spring practice coincides with the Miami
baseball series. This year, however, the No. 1-ranked FSU baseball team
will host Clemson on Friday (7:00 p.m.), Saturday (7:00 p.m.) and Sunday
(2:00 p.m.) on April 9, 10 and 11.
