Lake Buena Vista, FL – The men’s and women’s track and field teams travel to Central Florida to compete at the Walt Disney World Track and Field Invitational March 22 – 24. The event is held at the Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex and brings in colleges and high school teams from across the country.
The track at Disney’s Sports Complex is a state-of-the-art 400m, nine-lane facility built to IAAF specifications. The track surface is a double-layer Martin Surfacing ISS-1000 Encapsulated Finish Polyurethane Surface and is designed to allow for fast performances.
The facility also features three shot put rings, two discus/hammer rings, a javelin runway, two high jump areas, two long/triple jump runways and two pole vault zones. There is also covered grandstand seating available for 500 spectators.
