FSU Sports Information intern Melissa Wheeler sat down with senior Greg Bolden, the fastest 55 meter runner in the nation, to talk about his goals this season, how he spends his free time and everything in-between.

Q: What are your goals for this season?

A: To win the ACC and National Championships in the 60m and win the national title as a team. .

Q: How did it feel to earn the fastest time in the nation for the 55m?

A: It was great to win it, but I knew I had it in me because of the off season training.

Q: Do you have any pre-race rituals?

A: I usually get an ice bath the night before the race, and right before the race I drink a lot of water and make sure not to eat anything.

Q: What is your dream vacation?

A: To visit the rainforest and discover new plants and animals.

Q: Where is your favorite place to eat in Tallahassee?

A: Too many places…but Hungry Howies because of their 5 dollar large pizza

Q: What is your favorite thing to do on your off days?

A: I like to sleep and play video games

Q: What is the best part about being a member of the FSU Track and Field team?

A: The level of competition I get to train with. When you train with the best, you can run your best.

Q: What is your dream job?

A: I would love to be a movie star or a famous singer.

Q: If you could play another sport other than track, what would it be?

A: Football, because it’s a physical sport

Q: What are your ambitions after you graduate from Florida State?

A: I want to be an entrepreneur…I would love to own my own business

Q: What famous athlete has had the biggest influence on you?

A: Michael Jordan. He has accomplished so many things outside his sport too.

Q: What is your favorite item of clothing in your closet?

A: My mint green Ralf Lauren polo

Q: What is your most prized possession?

A: My family
