FSU Women’s Golf Takes 12th At Lady Buckeye Invitational

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Florida State women’s golf team shot a 340 in
today’s final round and took 12th place at the Lady Buckeye Invitational in
Columbus, OH. FSU’s three-round total of 990 was 71 strokes back of
champion Purdue.

Sophomore Louis Wright was Florida State’s top finisher. She tied
for 18th place with a three-round total of 233, 17-over par, after shooting
a final round 79. Wright was followed by Kristin Tamulis at 240 (+24),
Beth McCumber at 256 (+40), Stacey Burgin at 263 (+47) and Laura Kowalski
at 270 (+54).

The Lady Seminoles are back in action October 15-17 at the Beacon
Woods Invitational in New Port Richey, Fla.
