TALLAHASSEE, FL.– The Florida State women’s tennis team will travel north to take on 37th-ranked Georgia Tech on Saturday April 7th at noon and Clemson on Sunday April 8th, also at noon.
Florida State currently holds a 9-9 season record and has gone 1-3 against ACC opponents. Georgia Tech stands at 9-7, 2-1 in the ACC, while Clemson is 8-9 overall and 1-3 in ACC action.
The remaining four matches of the regular season are against ACC opponents, and Florida State head coach Lise Gregory knows it will be very important to finish strong.
“These last few matches are huge for us, they are must win,” coach Gregory said. “We are too good of a team to not be in the NCAA tournament so we just have to take care of business during the next week.”
After playing the Yellow Jackets and Tigers the women will prepare to make up two matches that rained out in March. The Seminoles will head back on the road to take on Maryland on Wednesday April 11th at 11 a.m., and Virginia on Thursday April 12th at 11 a.m.
