TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The Florida State Lady Seminoles match with the
North Carolina Tar Heels Thursday was cancelled due to unfavorable weather
conditions. There is a chance the match will be made up on Friday morning
at the Scott Speicher Tennis Center but nothing official has been set.

If FSU can not play the match Friday before they leave for
Maryland, the Lady Seminoles first ACC match of the season will be Saturday
against the Terrapins. Last season, FSU went 6-2 in conference play to
finish in third place.

The Lady Seminoles Kia Asberg will look to defend her 10-match
winning streak in FSU’s next match. Asberg leads FSU in wins with 20 and
is teamed with sophomore Marina Raic in doubles and the duo has won nine of
11 matches during the spring.

Florida State will play No. 52 Maryland on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
and No. 54 on Sunday at 11:00 a.m.
