FSU women’s tennis takes on No. 49 Tulane and No. 21 LSU
Women hope to bounce back from previous losses.
TALLAHASSEE, FL.– Florida State women’s tennis team is heading to New Orleans for a match up against No. 49 Tulane on Monday, February 12th at 3:30. On Tuesday, February 13th the women head to Baton Rouge, La. to face LSU at 2:00 p.m. The women’s team is ready to bounce back from their weekend loss to Florida and start making their way up through the rankings.
Florida State leads Tulane in the all-time series record 7-1, while LSU and the Seminoles are tied at 3-3. The women head into action ranked No. 30 in the nation.
Alida Gallovits, Christina Denny and Jessica Balbuena are all looking to build on their spring season records. Their lone loss of the season came at the hands of the Gators. As they head on the road the three hope to start up a winning streak once again.
After these two matches on the road the women will return home to prepare for rival Miami. The Lady `Noles will head to Miami Saturday, February 24th, dual match play will begin at noon at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center.
