Many recruiting services have P.J. Williams listed as a cornerback but the Ocala, Fla. native has one thing that defensive coordinator/secondary coach Mark Stoops covets in his players: versatility. At 6-foot-1 and 175 pounds, has the size to play at both cornerback or safety for FSU and could be slotted into either of those positions depending on depth and need.
Williams became the first commitment for FSU's 2012 class when he gave his pledge in July of 2010 and stood firm in that decision despite offers from some of the country's best programs.
Date publicly committed to FSU: July 24, 2010
