FSU’s Caroline Westrup Tied For Fifth At Bryan National Collegiate

The Florida State women’s golf team completed play Saturday at the 10th Annual Bryan National Collegiate Saturday evening. The Seminoles are currently in a tie for 12th place and are being led by All-American Caroline Westrup who is in a tie for fifth shooting two over for the tournament. Westrup is just two shots off the lead.

Joining Westrup in the top 50 is Whitney Brummet. The Missouri native is 12-over for the tournament and is currently tied for 46th. North Carolina native Whitney Wright has the third best score for FSU shooting +16 and is in a tie for 60th. Kayla Shaul sits 69th and Lauren Cousart is tied for 87th.

Florida State finished the second round at a plus-48 and is just three strokes behind ACC foe Wake Forest. ACC schools Duke, North Carolina and Virginia each are in the top 10. The top score is currently being held by Florida who carded a +16 for the tournament through two rounds.
