FSU’s Mark Donaldson Finishes Sixth At Beau River College Classic

Florida State senior Mark Donaldson shot a two-over par 74 on the final day of the Beau River College Classic and finished sixth overall in the individual standings. The Seminole men’s golf team placed 12th in the tournament after shooting 313 in the final round and 928 overall for the tournament.


Donaldson, from Fife, Scotland, completed the tournament 10 shots off the pace set by tournament winner Sam Polzin of Sam Houston State and he shot a 72 and a 76 in the first two rounds of the Classic. FSU’s Rick Westbrook tied for 22nd with a tournament total score of 227 and he was Florida State’s highest finisher behind Donaldson.


The Seminoles return to action Monday, February 19 at the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship in Jacksonville, FL.
