San Francisco, CA — Florida State and UCLA wrapped up their bowl festivities Tuesday at the fifth annual Emerald Bowl Kick-Off Luncheon. Both teams were treated to a gourmet lunch at the Westin Hotel. ESPN broadcasters Jack Arute, Dan Fouts and Tim Brandt were on hand to interview the players and coaches as the teams set the stage for Wednesday’s game.
Former San Fransisco Mayor Wille Brown was on hand to honor the 1951 USF Dons’ football team that will be recognized at the game Wednesday. Lorenzo Booker, Bobby Bowden and Buster Davis took the stage to answer questions from the ESPN crew.
Following the banquet coach Bowden and starting quarterback Drew Weatherford met with ESPN in advance of the Emerald Bowl game. The Seminoles and Bruins will help to open Capital One Bowl Week Wednesday night at 8:00 p.m. EST on ESPN.
