Game times for Florida State’s NCAA Tournament Super Regional contests at Arizona State were announced on Monday (May 22). Television coverage was announced as well.
The Seminoles and Sun Devils begin their best of three series Friday (May 26) at 7 p.m. (EST). The first game on Saturday is scheduled for 8 p.m. (EST) with a third game, if necessary, to follow at 11 p.m. Every game of the Super Regional will be broadcast on CSTV. CSTV is channel 610 on DirecTV and channel 152 on Dish Network.
Florida State advanced to the Super Regional on Sunday when it beat eighth-ranked Georgia 2-0 in the second contest after the Bulldogs forced a deciding game. Arizona State, seeded sixth nationally, won the Hempstead, N.Y., Regional by beating Penn State 5-0.
The Seminoles and Sun Devils met earlier in the year with Florida State prevailing 1-0 in nine innings at the Judi Garmen Classic in Fullerton, Calif. Arizona State leads the all-time series 4-3. This will be the first meeting between the two schools in the NCAA Tournament.
