Florida State Cheerleader Team

The Florida State Cheerleaders compete annually in the NCA Collegiate National Championship. Each year our squad must qualify for the competition at a summer camp hosted by NCA. Our cheerleaders qualified this summer at the camp held in Myrtle Beach, SC. In addition to qualifying for the National Competition, 12 members of the squad were selected to be All Americans, and the squad was voted “Best All Around” by the staff at the camp.

After qualifying at camp each squad has the opportunity to have their expenses paid for the competition by NCA. Each squad must submit a highlight video to be judged. The teams are judged on there technical skill level in the following areas: tumbling, stunts, pyramids, and basket tosses.

The Seminole cheerleaders were excited and pleased to find out that they placed 2nd out of the 25 Division 1A schools, and will have their expenses taken care of. This is the highest ranking that the Seminole cheerleaders have held going into the competition.

Come and support the FSU cheerleaders at the NCA Collegiate National Championship held in Daytona Beach. The competition will take place on April 2, 3, and 4th, and will be televised on CBS.
