The Seminoles were all smiles after earning its first ACC win of the season with a 41-22 victory over Clemson.

No. 9 Florida State will host 2-2 North Carolina on Saturday, October 2nd at Noon. FSU leads the overall series with North Carolina by a 13-1-1 margin. The Seminoles improved to 2-1 with last week’s 41-22 victory over Clemson in Bowden Bowl VI. Seminole tailbacks Lorenzo Booker (20-92 yards) and Leon Washington (14-76 yards) led the FSU offense while the defense allowed just one Clemson touchdown. (more)

No. 8 Florida State Defeats Clemson, 41-22

Wyatt Sexton threw for 162 yards and a touchdown after replacing an injured Chris Rix, and No. 8 Florida State forced five turnovers in a 41-22 victory over Clemson on Saturday. Rix sprained his right ankle late in the first quarter and was able to return, but spent the rest of the game on the sideline watching Sexton direct the offense. Sexton, a redshirt sophomore, completed 17 of 26 passes with a 47-yard scoring pass to Chauncey Stovall – the Seminoles’ first TD pass of the season. (more)

No. 5 Seminole Soccer’s Game With Miami Postponed For The Second Time

For the second time this season, the first-ever ACC meeting between the fifth-ranked Seminoles and University of Miami has been postponed due to a hurricane. Hurricane Jeanne has made it impossible for FSU to travel down to Coral Gables for the Monday night match. No make-up date has been set as of yet but as soon as the information is available, it will be released on the official athletic site for Florida State at seminoles.com. (more)
Joy McKenzie and the Seminoles will have to wait a little longer to face the University of Miami for the first time in ACC play.
